Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between Goods & Wants?
Goods are places you’ve been to and want to publicly recommend to your community by saying It’s Good. Wants are places that are next up on your list to try. We make it easy to keep track of all the places you’ve been to and want to go to in one place. When you are looking at places on the Map or Lists, you’ll see an icon that references your relationship to that place—whether you have already marked a place as Good or Want.
Can I invite my friends?
We are in a very early beta testing phase, so you won’t find a direct way to invite people to your community via the It’s Good app. If you have a friend in mind, recommend them to your Community Lead who can vet whether they’d be a good fit to join at this stage. You’ll be the first to know when we release more features for inviting friends to the app, and encourage you to direct friends to our waitlist in the meantime as well.
What’s the best way to share feedback?
Whichever way is easiest for you! You can use the Screenshot feature that is built into Apple’s Testflight or send us a message via the in-app chat located on the Home Tab and within Settings. If you ever get a ‘Crash Report’ pop-up, it’s also helpful to click ‘Send Report to Developer’ so we have more info on what happened. Learn more about giving feedback
Why can’t I find certain places via search?
We’re limiting search right now to specific types of places, including restaurants, bars, night clubs—basically anywhere you can eat or drink! Since we are filtering which types of places appear in search results, sometimes we may miss a place that should show up. Please submit feedback when this happens, so we can adjust the filters as needed. Additionally, we will eventually open this up to other types of places—like where to stay and what activities to do—and you’ll be the first to try it out when we’re ready!
What types of Lists do you recommend creating?
We encourage you to be creative! You can organize by cuisine like “LA’s Best Burgers”, by occasion like “Brunch with Kids”, or create more specific itineraries like “One Day in LA”. We have big plans for making Lists much more robust in the future, and welcome any and all suggestions for how you’d like to create your Lists. Learn how to create a list
